This majestic seascape was inspired after a week painting in Northern California. Years later I witnessed a similar storm in Florida except with a more beautiful intense light after the storm passed. Then I intensified the colors and viewers commented that the brushstrokes reminded them of Monet, but when one is lost in their own hypnotic world...other artists don't cross my mind.
